You can register online as a patron in The Copenhagen Libraries with your MitID.

Click Opret bruger

To start your registration click Opret bruger:

You will be redirected to a page where you can continue by clicking "Register as a patron":
Log in with your MitID

Log in with your MitID to start your registration:
Fill out patron information

Complete the form by filling out your information.

Your pickup library will be where your loan holds are available for checkout.

To complete your registration click Opret mig. Now your are ready to use The Copenhagen Libraries.

Registration - General Information

Registration:

When you register as a patron you choose your own PIN. This PIN is used when you check out materials. Materials can be checked out and returned at the self-service stations in the libraries.
The library does not assume responsibility for any fees or charges that may occur in the self-service opening hours.
In case of inactivity for a 2 year duration you will automatically be deleted in our library database. You can easily register again if you wish to.
Conscripts and non-Danish citizens are required to register in person at the library. In this case please remember to bring one of the following types of identification: passport, diplomacy ID, military ID, asylum seeker card or white card.
It is not possible to register as a patron in person at the moment.
