Loans and Returns

Library materials may be borrowed for the following lengths of time:
 

• The standard loan period is 28 days.
   
• Some material types may have a shorter loan period.
   
• Items checked out at one location can be returned to ANY of The Copenhagen Libraries.
   
• You will receive a notification three days before the loan period expires if you have registered your email and mobile number on your library account. However you are always responsible for returning your loans within the return date regardless of the notifications.
   
• Return dates are found on your library receipts.
   
• Make sure to register your returns correctly on the self-service terminals.
   
• You will get a receipt once you have returned your loans, and that serves as documentation of return.
