Search terms and phrases

Read about search terms and phrases for specialists and advanced searchers.

When you search in both non-marc and marc sources, you search by using the common search tags: term, phrase and facet indexes along with the boolean operators and special characters.

Boolean operators: and, or, not:

Must be used in English in order to differentiate from words in your search.

Special characters:

Special caracters are used for truncation, masking etc. in specialized searches.
