The Children´s Floor LÆS
The Children’s Floor LÆS is an all-new type of children's library based on neuroscience. We connect knowledge about children’s reading habits and language acquisition with activities, reading, playing and learning.
Copenhagen Main Library has dedicated 1000 square meters to support linguistic development and the love of reading. LÆS consists of 10 activity zones that encourage children to explore letters and books.
One of the new zones is dedicated books in English and other selected languages.

Monday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 3 pm
Sunday: 9 am – 3 pm

Rules
- Please park your stroller on the ground floor, at the red floor, as strollers and prams cannot be taken to LÆS for security reasons.
- Please leave your shoes, outerwear and backpacks in our cloak room
- Enjoy your own food and drinks in our dining area “Ordfrådseriet”
