About Vigerslev Library
Vigerslev Library is located in the Folehave district in Valby and is a large one-room library with space for both play in the children's library and contemplation in the adult library. We host many events in collaboration with local actors.
About the Library
Vigerslev Library is an integrated public and school library, focusing on children and young people as well as residents in the local area. The library is situated in Folehaven in Valby and serves as gathering spot for various local stakeholders. In collaboration with our local partners, we organize varoius activities eg. reading aloud sessions, community singing for adults, People’s Kitchen, and Holiday Camps.
We work closely with local daycare centers, with the aim of introducing literature to the youngest through our Bogvogter courses. In the children's library, you will find a large play-reading area where you can also sit and relax. The library's large windows cast a beautiful light into the room, and there is ample opportunity to grab a good book and find a nice reading spot.
