About Solvang Library

Solvang Library is a vibrant library in a local area characterized by great diversity. The library is well-visited by many international copenhageners and we welcome everyone to a newly renovated library filled with light and new facilities. The Culture and Communitity Center is a cross-sectional collaboration between the library, school, public health nurses, housing associations, and local associations.

About the Library

The newly renovated library welcomes you with large glass facades facing the common square between the library, Dyvekeskolen, and Solvang Church. We are a one-room library with many book displays featuring the latest children's and adult books.

The library serves as library for Dyvekeskolen next door, offering a wide range of suitable materials to support early reading.

We have especially prioritized the children's library, but there is room for everyone – including those who just want to sit and read the day's newspaper or browse through one of our many magazines.

The library hosts the Cultural Association ‘Liv i Sundby’, which organizes cultural activities at the library and many other locations around the local area. The cultural association publishes two annual event programs, offering activities for both children and adults.

Your Library

The library is accessible every day from 8 am to 8 pm, but service is only available at selected times. Everyone is welcome at the library, but to gain access outside of staffed hours, a yellow health card is neccesary. You also need to be registered as a user of Copenhagen's libraries to borrow our materials and use our computers.

Bus stop right in front of the library and Sundby Metro Station is within walking distance. There’s a limited number of parking spaces on Remisevej.
