About Blågården Library

At Blågårds Plads, in the heart of Inner Nørrebro, you will find Blågården Library. Here, you can read the newspapers of the day, explore book displays, or settle down at the study tables or in the lounge area. On the first floor is the cozy children's library, with lots of activities for daycare institutions, school classes, and families with children.

About the Library

Blågården Library has books and spaces for both young and old. At the children's library, you will find stacks of great children's books and space for coziness, creativity, and immersion, and on weekends, the library often offers free cultural activities for the kids. On the ground floor, you will find book displays for adults and a smaller stage and event area, which hosts various activities e.g. small concerts, lectures, film screenings, and readings.

Blågården Library is part of Blågården, which, besides the library, consists of the cultural house Støberiet, Korsgadehallen, and Kapelvej 44. Together, Blågården forms an active and vibrant cultural dynamo, housing several associations, local initiatives, and not least a wealth of activities and events, which are created in collaboration with local actors both inside and outside on the ever-exciting Blågårds Plads.
