Oplev Julia Quinn på Københavns Hovedbibliotek i samtale med journalist Sarah von Essen. 

Quinn er kendt for at skrive om viljestærke kvinder og for at udfordre de fordomme, der ofte følger med romance-genren. Hun har en markant stemme i debatten om litterært snobberi og peger på, hvordan genren både bliver skrevet og læst af kloge, reflekterede læsere.

Arrangementet er en sjælden chance for at opleve en international bestsellerforfatter på dansk grund – og for at komme tættere på både Bridgerton-universet og den stærke dronning, der inspirerer hendes nyeste bog.

• Tag elevatoren, som du finder på din højre hånd, når du træder fra Krystalgade ind i Centralsalen. Scenen er til højre, når du træder ud af elevatoren.
• Tag trapperne som du finder på din højre hånd, når du træder fra Krystalgade ind i Centralsalen. Følg trapperne op til fjerde. Scenen er til højre, når du træder ud på etagen.
• Følg rulletrapperne op til 3. sal. For enden af sidste rulletrappe går en trappe på din højre side op til 4. sal. Gå til højre for at komme til sceneområdet

For the first time, Bridgerton author Julia Quinn visits Copenhagen to talk about her writing career and new novel Queen Charlotte.

Julia Quinn is one of the world’s most popular romance authors and the creator of the global bestselling Bridgerton series, which has become one of Netflix’s greatest successes.

Quinn is known for portraying strong-willed women and for challenging the prejudices often attached to the romance genre. She is a prominent voice in the debate on literary snobbery, highlighting how the genre is both written and read by intelligent, thoughtful readers.

This event is a rare opportunity to experience an international bestselling author in Denmark – and to get closer to both the Bridgerton universe and the powerful queen who inspires her latest book.

• The event takes place LIVE at Copenhagen Main Library, 4th floor, Main Stage.
• The event starts at 17:00 and ends around 18:00.
• The event is free and does require tickets. Get your ticket via Billetto from September 5th. Please note that visibility of the stage is limited from certain seats. Therefore, we recommend arriving early. The seating area opens at 16:30.

How to get there

From the Central Hall of the Main Library, you can reach the stage area on the 4th floor in the following ways:

• Take the elevator, which you will find on your right-hand side when entering the Central Hall from Krystalgade. The stage is on your right when you exit the elevator.
• Take the stairs, which you will find on your right-hand side when entering the Central Hall from Krystalgade. Follow the stairs up to the 4th floor. The stage is on your right when you reach the floor.
• Take the escalators up to the 3rd floor. At the end of the last escalator, there is a staircase on your right-hand side leading up to the 4th floor. Turn right to reach the stage area.
