About the Library
Valby Library is centrally located in the heart of Valby, close to Tingstedet and directly opposite Spinderiet and Valby Station. The library is housed in the district's oldest building, a beautiful old cavalry school from 1722, which has has undergone several renovations and extensions. Now, the building encompasses an inspiring children's library with play areas, fun exhibitions, and stacks of great books. A study zone, where you or your study group can meet and work. Here you will also find our comic book collection as well as games and movies. We have PCs you can borrow and free Wi-Fi. The adult section has both non-fiction and fiction, all the latest on display, a newspaper reading room with space for contemplation, and a charming atmosphere (it is an old house after all!) Outside, you will find a small library garden and a ‘Swap Station’, where it is possible to make second-hand finds.

Your Library
